Gerardo’s Goodbye

After 12 years serving as the president of BanglaHelp, I’ve made the decision to step down and continue supporting the organization as an advisor to the board. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to be part of this mission. I’m deeply grateful for your support through the years—your prayers, your generosity, and your commitment to bringing hope and opportunity to vulnerable women and children in Bangladesh. On my recent visit, I was moved once again by how God continues to open doors and lead this work in beautiful and unexpected ways.

Though I am stepping back from a leadership role, my heart remains fully with the people of Bangladesh. I will continue to support the work personally and remain actively involved. At the same time, I’ve recently begun a new chapter in my family life, and I feel it’s time to allow new leadership to carry the mission forward. I invite you to welcome and support our new president, Diana Guinard, with the same warmth and encouragement you’ve shown me over the years.
