Five Sewing Machines. Five New Beginnings.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25
This week, thanks to the special support of Banglahelp, we were blessed to provide five sewing machines to women who completed our six-month sewing training program.
These machines represent much more than a tool for work. They represent dignity,
independence, and the opportunity to build a new future away from the brothel.
S. — A New Beginning After Loss
S. completed our fourth sewing training group. After leaving the brothel, she moved to Dhaka with her husband, but tragedy struck when he died in an accident.
Instead of returning to the brothel, S. chose to rebuild her life with her in-laws. With her new sewing machine, she can now use her skills to earn an income and support herself.
M. — A Future With Her Family
M. was part of our fifth sewing group. After spending several years in the brothel, she left and now lives with her husband outside the brothel community.
Although she is still improving her sewing skills, she dreams of supporting her family and never returning to the life she left behind. This sewing machine gives her hope and opportunity.
R. — Restoring Her Source of Income
R. completed our second sewing group and moved from the brothel to her father’s home. She had been supporting her children by sewing with an old machine, but it eventually broke beyond repair.
With this new sewing machine, R. can continue working and providing for her family.
P. — Choosing a Different Path
P. grew up in the brothel where her mother still lives, but she wanted a different future. After completing our sewing training, she moved to Dhaka searching for work.
Although she has not yet found employment, she remains determined. Her new sewing machine will help her earn an income while she continues building a new life.
T. — Building a New Life
T. and her mother both lived and worked in the brothel. After completing our third sewing group, T. married and moved away to start a new life with her husband.
She does not want to return to the brothel. Her sewing machine will help her earn an income from home and continue building a secure future.
A Gift That Changes Lives
Five women. Five families. Five new opportunities.
Your support is helping women move from survival to independence, giving them the chance to live with dignity and hope.
Thank you for standing with these women and helping create a future beyond the brothel.

Caring for the Whole Child: Health Screening Program
In June 2026, Banglahelp organized a special Health Screening and Health Services Program for our students and staff.
Through this initiative, we were able to provide health screenings at five Banglahelp Learning Schools (BHLS). We were also blessed to have the support of the BAUM Health Department, who joined this important event by providing specialist medical services.
Two specialist doctors participated, helping provide care and guidance to our students and staff. Within our available budget, we were also able to distribute necessary medicines to those in need.
The health program included:
Blood group testing
Blood pressure checks
Height and weight measurements
First aid care
Doctor consultations
Medicine distribution
Health education and awareness
We are grateful for the opportunity to care not only for the education of our children but also for their health and overall well-being. Thank you to everyone who supports this ministry and helps make these services possible.
