New Boy’s Safe Home

One of our more recent blessings is the launch of our boys’ safe home, which opened this year. Right now, we have 15 boys living there. I had the incredible privilege of visiting them, and I was so moved. The home was clean, bright, and full of joy. The boys go to school every day, and they are cared for by a devoted couple—alongside a cook and an additional caregiver—who together create a true family environment. A moment that really touched my heart was when one of the boys—he’s probably around 6 years old—offered to come back with me to Canada. It was such a simple, sweet gesture, and a powerful reminder of how deeply these children long for love, security, and connection. Despite their painful backgrounds, I saw joy on their faces. They were happy. They felt safe.
